I’m beyond obsessed with this Japanese-inspired mini dress from I Am Gia. At first I was a little hesitant to try it on because of its length and body-hugging fabric, but I quickly learned that this dress can make any body type look incredible! I shot this piece in Prague with my older sister Stephanie, who suggested I wear the dress two different ways. One with my hair up, which looks more formal, and one with a beanie for a more street style vibe. To be completely honest, I was pretty damn cold shooting this in late December with nothing covering my arms. Sometimes blogger get asked about their winter fashion choices, but the truth is I was wearing a massive overcoat and only took it off for five minutes to get these pictures. That’s what most bloggers do. We’re not walking around New York (or Prague) in what you see in the pictures. Usually there are many layers (and shivering) involved. I’m happy to be back in Portland now, but I’m so glad my sister was willing to set aside four hours to work on blog stuff with me in our hometown.
What’s In A Name? I named this set Gia’s Castle because the dress is from I Am Gia and you can see the Prague Castle in the background. Fun fact — that’s where our president lives.
